Hey Everyone. I know all of you have alot of questions about what is going on with the band. We apologize it took a few days to get this up but we were shocked and wanted to collect our thoughts and talk amongst ourselves before addressing what happened at Graceland to our friends and fans. Basically the story goes like this... A couple months ago Shane called our manager and quit the band. He said that he was playing in another band doing more "emo" sounding music and that his heart wasn't into playing rock anymore and that he wanted to move on. They had a good conversation and Shane offered to play shows until we found a replacement. Shane even went as far as to call singers he knew to let them know he had quit and that the slot was open. At that point we put an ad in the paper and quietly started looking around for a new singer. We were all very sad that Shane was leaving but supported his decision. Well about six weeks or so passed and Shane came to a couple of us and said he wanted back in and that he was having fun again, he wanted to have a band meeting to clear the air and get focused again. Unfortunately that meeting didn't happen...We wanted things to work out. Well everything was confusing and the ad that had been placed a month before Shane decided he "wanted to be back in" was still running and he took that opportunity to act as though people were doing things behind his back and publicly quit. It simply had been bought for a period of time AFTER he QUIT. Then there was a misunderstanding with John due to a rumor he heard and he quit as well.

Ty, Justin and Dana have decided to keep playing together and are currently trying out singers and guitar players. We have yet to decide what will happen with the recordings we did with Jack Endino or what we will call the band. We appreciate each and every person that has supported us, come to the shows and bought our records. We truly wish things would have worked out and that Jet City was still rockin.....

We wish Shane and John the best of luck and we hope that everyone checks back here for updates often.

Warm wishes,

The Jet City Fix
